The Objectives

Hallmark Care Homes were keen to make their objectives clear – operating in a highly competitive market, they needed to achieve the results they had initially set out to support the growth of the business. This meant that we needed to work fast to ensure the campaign was profitable from the get-go.

The Strategy.

Following the initial strategy, we began to highlight areas of the campaign we would work on in priority order ranging from highest priory to lowest priority to provide us with the chance to pick up some initial traction whilst we improved keyword density and carried out fixes to improve local search visibility.

The Campaign.

The site’s overall technical health was poor when the campaign onboarded, meaning that a large proportion of their core pages were unable to be properly crawled and indexed. We also identified a large amount of content duplication across each of the homes which contributed to a lack of visibility. To combat this, we rewrote all their main care home location pages, ensuring we were targeting the most relevant location terms but ultimately providing users with enough information to help improve lead quality. We also worked closely with our in-house pay-per-click team who managed the brands paid advertising campaigns to prioritise location based on the number and quality of conversions generated by each channel and the top performing homes. This was in addition to the clients internal marketing team to ensure we effectively increased the visibility of specific care homes based on the number of available beds each week.
